Our Stables and riding area is located just outside the beautiful village of Ravenshead in Nottinghamshire. We are secluded in a beautiful, peacefull green area which is ideal for riding and enjoying the beautiful green surroundings.

Equine assisted therapy and Horses – MY TWO PASSIONS

Hi, Im Kaye and since the age of 7, I have always been around and passionate about horses!!

In addition, I am a qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse qualifying in 1986.
Since qualifying I have worked in a wide variety of areas including;

Acute in patient services
Medium secure services
Mental health liaison and community teams.

I have worked and supported individuals with a wide range of mental health difficulties in excess of 35 yrs.

Currently I work in the Child & adolescent mental health service as a specialist practitioner but carry additional qualifications as a DBT therapist, NVR facilitator and a teaching qualification – Cert ED in Further Education having spent 6 years as a part time and Full time lecturer at West Nott’s College situated in Mansfield Nottinghamshire.

Equine assisted therapy and horses

Equine assisted therapy undertaken in a horse’s environment provides support to individuals to explore themselves and create a clearer understanding of any difficulties they may be experiencing.
